In Search of God's Promises

What is the one thing we do when we feel out of control in a situation? We grasp onto something stable, something we can lean on, something that will hold us up. When the ground is shifting we want something solid to stand on. This is a journey through the Bible in search of God's promises for us today. Let's look together to see how many "boulders" He has in His quarry for us to stand on! "It is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants." Rom. 9:8

Promise 89 Gen. 39:5

Gen. 39:5 - "It came about that from the time he made him overseer in his house and over all that he owned, the Lord blessed the Egyptian's house on account of Joseph; thus the Lord's blessing was upon all that he owned, in the house and in the field." When the Lord is in us, we are blessed and we carry that blessing everywhere we go. When we reflect Christ, people see Him in us and are drawn to Him. So go and carry that blessing today and watch how He is blessing your work, home and travels!
