Promise 5 Gen. 1:26

Gen. 1:26 - "Then God said, 'Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness'." We are made in the likeness of the trinity. I think often times we think of this in only physical form, but being made in this image of the Heavenly Father means that we were created to have that same heart of the Father, a heart who loves all and who desires the very best for others. We are made to be like Christ; to lay down our lives for the Father, to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth, to live in and with power, the power of the Holy Spirit. We are created to have discerning eyes and hearts, to stay on the path of God's leading and to direct others to the Father. That is what it means to be created in the image of the triune God. Lord Jesus help me to have Your eyes and to see You and know You as You've intended, Thank You! Amen!
