Numbers 35:34 - "'You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the Lord am dwelling in the midst of the sons of Israel.'" -
This message can't get any clearer. Not only does God reside in the midst of His people, but He resides in their territory. This means He can shift the political structure of the land. He can place leaders and take them out. He can overcome corruption and wipe it out. He can bring prosperity to the land. He contends for the things that you contend for regarding His kingdom because He resides in you. He can break down the strongholds and gives you strength in the mean time to stand against them. He is with you, around you and in you!
